School Participation Challenge
Could your school use $600 in cash for gym equipment? If so, read on to
find out more about the Youth Running Series and Capital Health’s Be Active for Fun, Be Active for Life PARTICIPATION CHALLENGE sanctioned by the Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation (NSSAF).
Here’s how it works:
There are seven YRS races starting in May and ending in October. When registering for a race you also state which school you go to. After the race, the most runners from a school receive the school trophy. This happens at each race. After the seven races, money prizes will be awarded to the top five schools who had the greatest accumulated number of runners over the seven races.
Cash Prizes are:
1st place - $600.00
2nd place - $500.00
3rd place - $400.00
4th place - $300.00
5th place - $200.00
The money is to assist with the purchase of gym equipment.
