We like to thank Maritime Heart for their continued support to YRS and our community. Their goal is to give people the proper tools to establish heart-healthy lifestyles. Their H2K – Heart Healthy Kid Program has been a success in many of the elementary schools throughout Halifax.

The start of the race will be off of Inglis Street by the Elementary school and playground. There is a small parking lot and the street for parking.

Registration - starts at 9 am!

Same day registration - the registration form must be filled out. Bring it with you. $4.00 per child. You the option of online registration, which means signing up your child. There is NO online payment service. You pay on the day of the race.

YRS full series member - bring you and your kids! We will have your racing bib ready for you to pick up.

This is the last event where you can sign up as a YRS full member! See benefits of being a member.

Route of the races:

Tykes and family time - around the soccer field.

Mosquitos - 1K route - smile up the hill you might be on camera :)

PeeWee / Bantam - 1.5K route - will do a loop of the soccer field first and then go around park and back down towards the soccer field to the finish.

Midget / Youth - 3K route - will do the 1.5 route two times.

REMEMBER - registration starts at 9:00 am! Get there early to avoid the line-up.

PRIZES!!!
Lots of Prizes to be drawn. Bikes and shoes to be won. Prizes will be drawn when all the races are done. You must there to claim the prize! So don't leave after the race, stay and have some food and refreshments. Come out and have fun with the hills. See you then!
